TIPS
This section is designed to give new and inexperienced
performers some useful tips. It is in two sections: what to do
when you are hired, and what to do for the shoot.
When you
are hired
Make sure you know exactly:
- What you are being hired to do
- The name of the production company and the director
- How
much you are being paid
- When you are going to get paid
- How you are going
to be paid
- Will you need your own wardrobe?
- The date, time,
location and essential phone numbers
- Will you be expected to
do your own make-up or will there be a make-up artist?
- How long
you will be needed?
- Transport arrangements – if transport
is not provided, work out carefully how to get there and
how long it will take
On the day:
- Make sure you arrive early
- Take the right wardrobe
and make-up if needed
- Carry your current picture ID and copies
- Take the
Sexual Health Certificate we will have given you (make sure
it is not more than 30 days old), and copies of it to hand out.
- Take
a towel, a robe, a douche, lubrication, toothbrush and toothpaste
- It’s
a good idea to take an ipod, walkman, book or magazine to pass
the time while you wait to get started or between shots
- Take
your mobile phone but always remember to turn it off while
on set
- Do not take expensive jewellery or lots
of cash to the shoot
- Bring your own condoms
